Ingredients
  

Chicken and Sauce

  • 3 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 21.5 ounces condensed cream of chicken soup (2 cans of 10.75 ounces each)
  • 6 ounces Stove Top Stuffing chicken flavored
  • 0.25-0.5 cup chicken stock or broth only as needed

Cooking Instructions

  • Combine the chicken and soup in the crockpot and cook on LOW until the chicken is easily pulled apart. This usually takes about 3-4 hours, depending on the crockpot.
  • Using tongs or a pair of forks, shred the chicken. Add the stuffing mix to the crockpot and stir to combine. Cover with lid and cook for an additional 20-30 minutes, just until the stuffing has softened and everything is warm.
  • If the mixture appears dry, add a splash or two of chicken stock before serving. Pile the chicken mixture on hamburger buns to serve.

Notes

Feel free to use either all dark meat or a combination of both as preferred for this recipe.
